Donald Trump Jr Joins Polymarket Advisory Board Following Strategic Investment
Donald TRUMP Jr. has joined the advisory board of Polymarket, a prediction market platform, after his venture capital firm 1789 Capital made a strategic investment in the company. The financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. Polymarket highlighted the move as a step toward bolstering its leadership with political and business expertise as it prepares for expanded operations in the US.
"Polymarket cuts through media spin and so-called 'expert' opinion by letting people bet on what they actually believe will happen in the world," Trump Jr. said. The platform allows users to wager on outcomes ranging from political elections to cultural events, generating market-driven predictions.
Shayne Coplan, Polymarket’s founder and CEO, described the partnership as reinforcing the company’s role as a trusted source of transparent and accurate market information. "This strategic investment marks a milestone for Polymarket," Coplan said.
